Annette Newsome is a graduate of Jackson State University where she received a Bachelors Degree in Biology with a minor in Math and French. Annette taught Biology, Physics, Math and Science on the secondary level in the public schools of Oklahoma, Maryland, Mississippi and Tennessee. Since becoming a resident of Atlanta in 1979, she left the field of education and began a career in Finance with Delta Airlines.
