Mr. Jordan began his telecommunications career at Pacific Bell in 1967, and accumulated over 35 years of experience in the Telecommunication Industry. During his tenure at Pacific Bell, Mr. Jordan held several technical, supervisory and management positions in operations and corporate staff. His proficiency in planning, design, and implementation of telecommunications switching and transmissions projects gave him the skills necessary to Co-found Telpro Technologies, Inc. (TELPRO) in 1990 where he served as Chief Operating Officer (COO). His skills in management, strategical/tactical planning and effective communications launched him into the CEO/President position in 1998 and gave him the ability to develop TELPRO into a powerhouse engineering and installation company. TELPRO served most of the large Regional Bell Operating Companies (RBOC’s) including SBC, BellSouth and Verizon as well as other major telecommunication giant like AT&T and GTE with Mr. Jordan at the helm. TELPRO supported a workforce of 1000 employees and attained revenues of over $200M in fiscal year 1999. In November 2000, Mr. Jordan and his wife Vanessa established The Jordan Foundation with a personal endowment of over one million dollars. The Jordan foundation is a charitable Trust with a mission to further the spiritual, mental and physical growth of youth and young adults to better prepare them for contributions to the social, economical and education aspects of American society. Mr. Jordan currently lives in Atlanta, Georgia with his wife and son. |
