A message from The Jordans...

In April 2000 we started the Jordan Foundation to help prepare young people to meet the challenges of adolescence and adulthood. In the beginning we decided that we wanted to do something of value, to help young people get off to a good start. We wanted to express our gratitude for the many ways our lives have been blessed. Our foundation is our way of saying thank you. Now we have moved ever closer to realizing our dream.

At first we could only respond in small ways, making grants to worthy organizations, providing scholarships to a few young students. This year, while those efforts continued, our opportunities began to multiply as we found ways to offer special programs in a local high school. Today our programs provide a significant supplement to the regular curriculum at our local high school partners, offering vital information to students who are ready to start their lives. Through "PROFESSIONALISM" and "FINANCE" we are making a real difference in the lives of the students. We are helping them prepare for their days of independence and responsibility. Our dreams for the Jordan Foundation are being realized.

Now, as always, we are focused on the positive, the possible, the constructive. Of course, there are problems to overcome. Yes, there are obstacles along the way. But we know our programs offer useful tools, which help young people to take charge of their lives and to succeed where others have not.

We now turn to the future with eager anticipation. New possibilities, new partners, and new ideas will be the key words for the coming years. We invite you to join us as we build a new generation of successful young Americans.
