Pastor Allen is a native of Dickinson, Texas where he was raised by his parents Reverend and Mrs. J.B. Allen.  He graduated from Dickinson High School and earned the Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from the University of Houston. 

Pastor Harry E. Allen has served for nineteen years as the pastor of LaMarque Chapel Church of Christ in Texas City, Texas. He has also served as Superintendent of ten local churches.

After retiring from E.I. DuPont, Inc. as an accountant, Pastor Allen and his wife founded the LaMarque Chapel Child Development Center. He is currently CEO of the Center which serves children between the ages of 0 to 12 and instills the center’s philosophy ‘to be the best they can be.’

Pastor Allen and his wife, Corliss of thirty-five years, reside in Clear Lake City, Texas. They are the parents of four children and grandparents of six grandchildren.
