The Jordan Foundation Youth Education Series (YES) is designed to provide youth with the skills necessary to become successful and contributing adults. We recognize the youth of today are our leaders of tomorrow. The Jordan Foundation curriculum was developed to enhance class instruction in the areas of professionalism, money management, entrepreneurship, youth legal issues and science/math careers. Our goal is to provide learning experiences emphasizing problem solving, critical thinking, and practical application utilizing a team of staff and industry professionals. The Youth Education Series (YES) is designed to meet Performance Standards outlined by the Georgia State Board of Education.
The Jordan Foundation Youth Education Series (YES) consists of:
PROFESSIONALISM is designed to teach high school students strategies for the job search, professionalism in the workplace, teamwork, flexibility, how to dress for success, resumes, portfolios etc. The program started on September 12, 2003 at Frederick Douglass high School with 110 students participating.
FINANCE is a series of sessions that teach students about the real financial and monetary issues they will encounter as adults. The program teaches financial literacy to students to include budgeting, money management, investments, managing savings and checking accounts, credit and insurance.

As a part of The Jordan Foundation’s program offerings, BIZWORLD is extended to our elementary school partners.
The BIZWORLD program is a product of the BIZWORLD Foundation, a national non-profit that offers business and entrepreneurship programs for teachers to implement in classroom settings, creating real world experiences for students. The Foundation’s programs include BIZWORLD, which gives students the opportunity to run a business and BIZWIZ, which teaches the basics of saving and investing. The programs have been taught to more than 150,000 children in the United States and abroad.
