Richard Turnley, III


Richard Turnley, III is a financial advisor with Raymond James Financial Services and President of Atlanta Wealth Advisors.  His practice focuses on providing comprehensive wealth management strategies and solutions to individuals, foundations, endowments and trusts.

Richard is a graduate of Florida A&M University, where he earned both his undergraduate and MBA degrees in Finance.  Before founding Atlanta Wealth Advisors and affiliating with Raymond James, Turnley worked for over 15 years in the financial services industry for Wachovia Bank, Bank of America, and Smith Barney,.  He currently serves as the President of the Atlanta Chapter of the National Association of Securities Professionals and is very active in the Atlanta community.  Richard has conducted numerous seminars for Atlanta area schools, non-profit organizations, and churches on the subject of financial planning and investing.  He has been featured in the Atlanta Tribune and the Atlanta Journal-Constitution for his work in the investment industry.

Richard is originally from Baton Rouge, Louisiana and currently resides in Southwest Atlanta with his wife Katherine and daughter Kai.
